Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. The pictures may be a part of the description but can only be relied upon as a reasonable representation of the items listed. Physical inspection of the property is encouraged and highly recommended. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Inspection is by appointment only. Please reach out to the contact for this listing to schedule an inspection.

Please research the equipment you are bidding on so you can be sure to have the necessary tools, personnel, and vehicle/trailer to safely remove the equipment from its location. We can only proceed with pick-ups with appointments. Walk-ins are not permitted. If you plan to send someone to pick up the item in your place, you must complete and sign an authorization of release form. This will be provided via email upon payment of the bid. All items must be removed within ten business days of winning the bid. Hagerstown Community College employees are unable to assist in the loading of any items. We are also unable to provide any moving equipment.

Items can be shipped on a strictly case-by-case basis, which must be determined before the bid has ended. Shipping ability can be determined by size, weight, and quantity of the lot. If you require an item to be shipped in order to obtain it, please submit a question or send an email to the HCC representative listed before bidding. There is no guarantee that shipping is available if we are not asked before the auction has ended. A pre-paid shipping label will always be required from the buyer if shipping is determined to be permitted. HCC cannot be held liable if package is lost or damaged after it has left the campus. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the ten business days mentioned above.

The individual removing the asset must provide proof of winning the auction and a photo ID at time of removal. If someone other than the buyer is picking up the item, proof of winning the auction and a photo ID are still required, along with the authorization of release form. Hagerstown Community College is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may result in the process of packaging, removal, and/or transporting of items.

By submitting a bid, bidder hereby acknowledges that they agree to and will abide by the terms and conditions as described. Due to shipping costs, we do not accept bids from outside the United States. If you are from a country other than the United States and you bid on the items, you will be defaulted.

NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to Hagerstown Community College’s terms and conditions, your account with Liquidity Services will be locked.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale as is, where is. Hagerstown Community College makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchant ability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final and all items must be removed at the same time.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of the property.If the College confirms that the property does not conform to the description, the College will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller should not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
