The property being sold in this auction are the contents of safe deposit boxes reported to the District of
Columbia, Unclaimed Property Unit by various safekeeping repositories. The boxes have been unclaimed by
the owner for more than 3 years from the date on which the lease or rental period expired.
All items have been appraised by a certified appraiser.
Item Description:
Pearls:
A/ 32-inch strand of cultured pearls with a 14kt yellow gold clasp. Pearls are approx. 6.5mm. Cream color with some blemishes and out of round pearls.
B/ Double strand of cultured pearl bracelet, Length is approx. 6 5/8 of an inch. Needs to be restrung.
C/ Has one extra pearl in lot. Approx. 6.5mm. pinkish tint with some blemishes.
Gold:
A/ 14kt yellow gold bracelet with five oval blue topaz stones and four small accent diamonds. Length is 7 inches and weight is 4 grams.
B/ 14kt yellow gold (tested, not marked) link chain. 19 1/4-inches and weight is 24.8 grams.
C/ 18kt yellow gold (tested, not marked) woven necklace with hidden clasp and has some small defects. 15 inches approx. 3/8 inches in width and weight is 34.4 grams.
Sterling Silver:
A/ MMA 1992 Cleo sterling silver butterfly. Enameled with various colored stones (one is missing from design.) 3 1/4 inches and weight is 18 grams.
Misc:
Five misc. belt buckles- one silver tone with faux turquoise and the other are all gold tone. Also, two black belts- worn.

Retirada
Removal: Items must be picked up in person. Buyers must pick up within six (6) calendar days of auction close. After 6 days, auctions will be canceled. If auction canceled, buyer's account will be locked. Removal is by appointment only. Appointments for removing the property will be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Once item is paid, please email dcauction@dc.gov to schedule appointment.
*Appointments must be scheduled by 4:00pm EST on the Monday prior to the desired appointment time.* No packing or shipping available. If you need packing/shipping, please contact a third party shipping company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. If sending a shipping company, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)

All items are sold as is where is with no guarantees or warranties. All sales are final once items leave our facility.
