Haas ST-20Y CNC Lathe. The machine was purchased and ran exclusively in a tech center, so it has low spindle hours, but limited options. It has a 12 station VDI40 turret, w/ 6 live tool stations and 6 1.0” stick tooling static stations. 4k spindle RPM, w. factory 8.0” chuck, and a 2.0” thru bore. MT4 servo driven tailstock. Included a few axial and radial live tooling (rated to 3k RPM), static tool holding blocks, coolant blocks, and assorted hardware

Equipment condition (list specific repairs needed, if known): Machine powers on just fine, but has had an intermittent issue with its turret index rotation. It will index as normal, and then it will unseat the turret and alarm out. The solenoid and Humphrey’s valve have been replaced by our local HFO. I believe the machine is also in need of a general alignment. The machine has largely sat static for the last few years.

When I was at the facility, picking up some machines, I was inquiring about this machine. I was told that there was some issues with the turret that haas was unable to resolve and I believe I was told the spindle was out of alignment.
