Fire District Surplus – Scott SCBA Equipment, Air Packs, Masks, Bottles & RIT Packs

The Fire District is offering a lot of surplus Scott self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment and related components. These items have been removed from service due to equipment upgrades and are no longer needed for Fire District operations.

This auction consists of a mixed lot of Scott SCBA masks, complete air packs, air bottles, RIT packs, and air pack frames. Equipment is being sold as surplus and may be suitable for training use, refurbishment, parts, or other non-frontline applications.

Asset inventory includes:

18 Scott SCBA face masks without voice amplifiers

3 Scott SCBA face masks with voice amplifiers

8 Large Scott SCBA face masks

1 Large Scott SCBA face mask with voice amplifier

2 Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) packs with Scott 5.5 SCBA air bottles

2 RIT packs (kit only), no air bottles included

26 Scott 5.5 SCBA air bottles

2 Scott 5.5 SCBA air bottles identified as repairable

19 complete SCBA air pack sets

3 complete Scott SCBA air pack frames (no bottles), requiring specific repairs

Condition Notes:

Equipment condition varies across the lot

Most items were operational at the time of removal from service

Other items may require inspection, repair, servicing, or replacement of components prior to use

Three (3) SCBA frames require specific repairs

Two (2) SCBA air bottles are repairable

Air Bottle Information:

SCBA air bottles included in this lot were hydrostatically tested and recertified in May 2021- All records are available

Buyers are responsible for verifying current hydrostatic test status and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations prior to use

Buyer is responsible for all loading, removal, transportation, and any required recertification or repairs
