Used. Gatan K2 Direct Electron Detection Camera, BioQuantum Energy Filter & Accessories for Cryo-Electron Microscopy. Auction includes: Gatan K2 direct electron detection camera, Gatan BioQuantum energy filter, Sorensen DLM-40-15 DC Power Supply, Super Micro Server w/ Software, K2 Summit Processor, Gatan Instrumentation Bin, GIB Power Supply, Rack. After the system was installed it passed several tests, but then "failed". Afterwards the University opted for a newer system instead of trying to getting this one to work. As a result this system is being sold "as is", as we never had it serviced we cannot attest to any issues it may or may not have. The system is complete but would of course need installation that may require adapters (flanges and the like) for a particular microscope. No testing or verification has been performed on these items. May be missing parts and/or require repairs. Pickups and product inspections must be scheduled with surplus at least a day beforehand.

Payment in full is due not later than five (5) days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Payment must be made electronically via the payment methods listed below.

TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer’s Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at tax@govdeals.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction’s close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.

Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for all loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Vehicle Titles will be issued at the time of removal.
If you are using 3rd party shipping or a common carrier, you must submit BY E-MAIL OR FAX a "Straight Bill of Lading" prior to scheduling the pickup. The Bill of Lading must be completed with the buyers 3rd party bill to information along with the freight charge terms completed as:Prepaid,Collect or 3rd Party billing. NO ACCEPTIONS ALLOWED, WE WILL NOT RELEASE YOUR PURCHASE WITHOUT A COMPLETED BILL OF LADING!
