Payment must be made directly to the seller, not GovDeals.

Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Certified Cashier's Check, Money Order, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). Checks shall be made payable to: County of Anson

3. Depending on your history with GovDeals, you may be limited to the number of auctions/transactions that you can participate in simultaneously. For additional insight, please visit the Probation FAQ.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete the seller’s tax exemption documentation within 24 hours of the auction’s closure & prior to making payment. For any questions, please click the “Ask a question” hyperlink, if available. If unavailable, please refer to the contact information within the “Seller Information” section.

Please read the description thoroughly to gather any-and-all information regarding payment information. In many cases a Bid Deposit may be required prior to being able to place a bid on properties, that can or will be forwarded to the seller upon being awarded the property and will be subtracted from the final payment. Additionally, Closing Costs, Deed filing fees, and additional associated fees may need to be made directly to the seller, and are NOT included in the Winning Bid and the Buyer’s Premium.
