Sartorius 50L Biostat CultiBag System - single-use wave rocker bioreactor.
This 2010 Sartorius "BIOSTAT CultiBag" single-use wave rocker bioreactor system, includes both the RM 50 control tower and rocker base (model DS050LBRM). This system was recently tested and is fully operational aside from a faulty temperature element. It was removed from service only because the previous owners process changed such that the unit became unnecessary, and is ready to be recommissioned. This RM 50 system supports disposable cultivation bags up to 50L total volume, with typical working volumes up to approximately 25L. It provides automated control and monitoring of temperature, rocking speed and angle, pH, dissolved oxygen, and gas flow. Operating specs include approximately 2040C temperature range, 510 rocking angle, and 842 rocks per minute. The integrated gas control system includes air, O2, N2, and CO2 rotameters, along with acid/base pump control capability for automated process regulation. Both the rocker and the control tower operates on standard 120V single-phase power. Approximate dimensions are 20" W x 16" D x 32" H for the control tower and 24" W x 43" D x 18" H for the rocker platform. Stainless steel construction throughout and still in excellent condition despite it’s age.
