Description

The City of Peoria owns 6 pole barns with some metal exterior cladding and metal roofing located at 1601 W Northmoor Rd, Peoria, IL 61614. The buildings are being sold as-is, where-is. No guarantee is made to the condition of the building nor the items that are contained therein. This auction is for the entire barn structure and its contents, not for the selective removal of materials. Selective removal of scrap metal and other high-value material while leaving the remaining structure or debris on site will not be permitted.

The building is unlikely to be in a condition to be dismantled and rebuilt but has some scrap value in the wood, electrical components (likely copper), and metal roof. This building is sitting on a concrete slab that can stay with the property but the remaining portions of the building will be expected to be removed at the expense of the winning bidder. The winning bidder will be expected to completely remove the entire structure within sixty (60) days and be responsible for the entire cost associated with removing and transporting of building materials. These costs include but are not limited to labor, equipment, permits, insurance, bonding, and any other costs applicable from any laws and regulations concerning such type of work. Removal of the structure will be coordinated with the city and comply with applicable regulations.

Final sale is subject to a purchase contract between the Parties. By placing a bid, bidders acknowledge failure to remove the entire structure and properly clean the site may result in potential legal action under the terms of the purchase contract. Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
