This is a Vulcan 260L commercial gas range, originally installed in a Fairfax County Fire Station kitchen. The unit was manufactured in 2006 and includes six (6) burners, one (1) flat-top griddle, and two (2) standard ovens. It is constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel and includes an integrated backguard and plate shelf.
The unit was removed from service due to a malfunction. The left oven is functional, but the right oven is non-functional and was removed from service after internal review deemed it not worth repairing. Staff noted that the issue may relate to the temperature sensor, but no formal diagnosis or repair attempt was made. Other components have not been tested and are presumed to require maintenance or be sold for parts.
It is being sold AS-IS / WHERE-IS, with no guarantee of operability. Prospective buyers should assume the unit is non-functional and may require significant repair or be suitable for parts only.
The range is currently located at the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department’s Logistics Distribution Center (LDC). It is mounted on casters but is heavy and will require proper equipment and personnel for removal.

Removal
Property will be removed by appointment only and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
Fairfax county WILL NOT SHIP under normal circumstances. The Buyer must acquire written permission ahead of auction close unless specifically stated in the auction description. In this event, buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. NO ASSISTANCE will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
