Used brass water meters. Mostly Neptune model T-10, the sizes can range from 5/8" to 2" meters which could have a few other brands. These meters are contained in wooden crates with a pallet base, and approximately @ 32” wide (x) 40” long (x) 30” high. The weight of the crates is included in the weight stated below. This lot includes (5) crates:
Crate #1: 1,586lbs
Crate #2: 1,940lbs
Crate #3: 1,784lbs
Crate #4: 1,827lbs
Crate #5: 1,823lbs
Total Weight: 8,960lbs
The meters are at the Inventory Bldg 1172 located at Hobson (Old Navy Base), in North Charleston, SC 29405

The average weight of each wooden pallet is ~ 55-65 lbs. CWS can provide a forklift & driver to load the crates onto a trailer! CWS can assist with loading, but the winner MUST sign a standard GovDeals waiver, in advance of pick-up, which relieves CWS from any liability in the case of a mishap whilst assisting on CWS property. No exceptions.

No warranty - Guarantee and the Charleston Water System is not responsible for any issues that arise after being bought or while being sold on Gov Deals. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the item for sale. Please contact the CWS asset contact as needed, to schedule an appointment for an inspection.

SALES TAX

Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website, and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Charleston Water System assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 2:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. For additional information, please contact the Asset Contact to schedule a removal. A daily storage fee of $25.00 may be charged for items not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. PLEASE GIVE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE TO SCHEDULE PICK UP and cannot be scheduled on weekends.
