This backhoe is operable, with unknown service history. It has 678 hours. It does not appear that there are any leaks. Both the backhoe loader and bucket work. The bucket goes up, down and extends. The loader goes up, down and open/closes. Both the stabilizers work, able to go up and down. Lights on backhoe work.
The battery condition is unknown but when initially starting the unit after a few months of it not being used, we had to jump start it. It then shut down after about a few minutes of it being on, then we were able to get it started after a few tries with no jump. After about a week of it sitting, it started up on its first try.
We cannot guarantee that the backhoe will start immediately or operate as intended. The photos and video provide a more accurate depiction of its present state.
If there is someone other than the buyer picking this backhoe, CWS requires an authorization of release form, to be completed and signed by the buyer in advance of the pickup. If someone other than the buyer is picking up the backhoe, two additional forms are due from buyer to CWS in advance of the pickup.

Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website, and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Charleston Water System assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 2:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. For additional information, please contact the Asset Contact to schedule a removal. A daily storage fee of $25.00 may be charged for items not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. PLEASE GIVE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE TO SCHEDULE PICK UP and cannot be scheduled on weekends.
