Description

Approximately 24 x 36 mobile unit. Being SOLD AS IS. Unit has been checked and certified free of asbestos and any hazardous materials. Pick up only. No delivery or shipping. It is the buyer’s responsibility to find their own mover. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the removal of this unit, including, but not limited to, any necessary permits required to move the unit. This unit cannot be resold while on school property.

There is no title to this unit. The interior ceiling height is 8 feet. The HVAC system is a wall mount unit, and there is a 100 amp panel on this unit. ***This unit does not include a hitch/tongue, axles, or tires.*** The electrical panel box mounted on the outside of the mobile, and all loose items (ex. books, desks, chairs, technology, wifi devices, furniture, etc.) pictured in the mobile unit are not included in the sale of the mobile unit. Loose items will be removed prior to the sale date and will remain the property of JCPS. All underpinning, wooden ramps and back steps are included in the sale of the mobile unit; these must be removed with the unit. The flat, straight, wooden walkways are not included in the sale. There are no bathrooms or kitchens in this mobile unit.

Buyer must clean up all debris, such as all cinder blocks, anchors/hurricane straps, etc. upon removal of the unit. Buyer is also responsible for repairing any damage that occurs to school grounds or property, including but not limited to cement, asphalt, fencing, tire ruts in the ground/grass, etc.

***This unit will remain occupied by JCPS through June 12, 2026. The buyer can begin removing the mobile unit on June 13, 2026. This unit MUST be removed by June 21, 2026.**

Buyer must remove the unit, all underpinning, wooden ramps, and back steps as well as clean up all debris such as cinder blocks, anchors/hurricane straps, etc by June 21, 2026. Buyer must schedule removal with Johnston County Public Schools Facility Services by calling 919-934-2021 ext. 7032. The removal schedule must be coordinated with JCPS Facility Services so there is minimal impact on school operations. This unit is located behind Riverwood Elementary School. Any visits by potential/actual bidders and/or the buyer must be arranged in advance by contacting JCPS Facility Services at 919-934-2021 ext. 7032. Unit is SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS. MAY NOT BE AS PICTURED. ALL SALES FINAL.

Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
