Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. There is no inspection for this auction. Please use the 'Ask a Question' feature to ask any questions you may have PRIOR to bidding.

Removal: Items must be picked up in person. Buyers must pick up within six (6) calender days of auction close. After 6 days, auctions will be canceled. If auction canceled, buyer's account will be locked. Removal is by appointment only. Appointments for removing the property will be available Tuesday- Thursday from 9:00am-3:30pm. Once item is paid, please email dcauction@dc.gov to schedule appointment.

*Appointments must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.* No packing or shipping available. If you need packing/shipping, please contact a third party shipping company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. If sending a shipping company, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)

All items are sold as is where is with no guarantees or warranties. All sales are final once items leave our facility.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' District of Columbia Unclaimed Property, DC makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
