Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. ALL questions regarding the item(s) must be submitted online through the GovDeals Question & Answer process. No questions will be answered verbally over the phone, by email or in person.

If you are the winning bidder, contact the Seller PRIOR to pick-up to verify payment has cleared. You must pay on line; no payments accepted on site. If there are any issues with the item at the time of removal, resolve them with the Seller BEFORE THE ITEM IS REMOVED. All assets must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. The Buyer or their representative must bring the following with them: 1) The Buyers Certificate for the items to be picked-up. 2) Government issued photo ID for purchases over $500.00. 3) Authorization of Release form if the person picking up the item is NOT the buyer. (Must request from the Seller.) The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, dismantling (if applicable), loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. The Seller WILL NOT assist with loading of purchased items. All items must be removed at one time unless previous arrangements have been approved by the Seller. If the Buyer cannot remove all items in one visit the Seller will determine which item(s) will be released first. Seller reserves the right to cancel the sale if a buyer having paid does not pick-up their merchandise within ten (10) business days from the close of the auction. Seller may not refund buyers payment. On defaulted auctions the Seller reserves the right to offer the next higher bidder the item(s) at their bid price.

Seller (City of Leesburg) will NOT ship Auction items. Viewing of Auction items prior to close of auction by appointment only. Items are located at the address listed under Asset Location. GovDeals.com handles all payments for the City of Leesburg. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction. State of Florida & local sales tax of 7.00% shall be added to all purchases made. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment. Tax exempt buyers must provide appropriate documentation prior to paying for items(s) in order for sales tax to be removed. Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS' Seller makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please not that upon removal of the property, all sales are final. Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for mis-description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description. Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The only remedy under this section is the Seller will refund money paid by the Buyer. The liability of the Seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. The Seller will not reimburse Buyer for any additional expenses or costs.
