Inspection Prior to Bid: Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Bidders may inspect the property prior to bidding. Payment
Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. Payment must be made electronically through the GovDeals Website. See Terms and Conditions for additional payment instructions. Sales Tax and Buyers Premium: All auction winning bid amounts are subject to 5.5% sales tax and a 12.5% Buyers Premium. Tax Exempt Buyers: Buyers are required to notify and submit the proper documentation to have the sales tax removed from total prior to making payment.
Removal
The City of Eau Claire will not package or ship any auction Items. Successful bidders are responsible for removal and loading of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer's Certificate.
