SALES TAX

Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance. If you show up without an appointment you will NOT receive your item. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including but not limited to packing, rigging, loading, securing and transportation of the property. The buyer will incur all costs and risks associated with removal. No Assistance from the seller will be provided. Buyers may not work on or dismantle vehicles in parking lot other than to jump start them. If a vehicle does not start by key, or cannot be started by key with a jump start, it must be towed from the site or placed on a trailer and hauled away. County staff and or personnel will not assist with loading or jump starting vehicle. Any damage done to the seller’s property by loading or towing a vehicle must be repaired by the buyer. Buyer will be held responsible for damage to any of the seller's property caused by or during the removal of the purchased item should any damage occur. ITEMS AUCTIONED ARE FOR PICKUP ONLY. PACKAGING AND SHIPPING ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. If removal is not made within the allotted 10 business days, or written permission from the seller to the buyer extending the removal time frame is not granted, the buyer then forfeits his/her rights to said item and the seller then reclaims ownership of the item and may repost the item for sale again. The seller also forfeits all payments made to the seller if the item is not picked up in the allotted time.

By submitting a bid, bidder hereby acknowledges that they agree to, and will abide by, the terms and conditions as described. NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this sellers terms and conditions your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.
Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.” The County of Louisa makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property. Vehicle is sold as AS IS, where is, and without warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied. Upon sale, all risks and responsibilities of ownership shall pass to the buyer, including costs for titling and registration. No refunds shall be available.
