Payment

Payment is due in full no later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are Cash, (for the exact amount of the sale) Certified Check, Money Order, and Traveler’s Check. Payments can be mailed to Cleveland County Finance Dept, PO Box 1210, Shelby, NC 28151-1210 or delivered in person at 311 E. Marion St. Shelby, NC – Administrative Building, 2nd floor, Payments Unit. MISC PROPERTY: may be removed between the hours of 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays ONLY. VEHICLES: may be removed Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Removal

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Bidders are responsible for loading, removal, packing and transportation of the sold property. Under no circumstances will Cleveland County assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping the items. MISC PROPERTY: may be removed between the hours of 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursdays ONLY. VEHICLES: may be removed Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm All vehicles sold from Cleveland County will require the title to be filled out with buyers name, address, mileage and date of delivery. No blank titles will be released.
