Is the interest in the property that's for sale a tax deed (TD)? If so, I'm not sure how familiar you are with AL tax lien laws but the nature of how this is being marketed for sale diminishes the value of the TD. I buy TDs and TDs on land but not this way for multiple reasons. One key reason is that the delinquent property owner (DPO) can easily redeem this if it is a TD so that shrinks the potential buyer pool & lowers resale value, just a fyi. 06/29/2026 10:38:30 AM
Thank you for your comment. Just to clarify, this is not a standard Alabama tax deed where the former owner has redemption rights. This property was acquired directly from the State of Alabama, and the previous owner cannot redeem the property.
