Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Buyer's Certificate and receipt must be presented for pick up. The buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. MCCS-SC is not responsible for handling shipping of items. We do not have packing material (bubble wrap, boxes, shrink wrap) available.

The MCCS Property department will contact winning bidder when approval for base access has been received. Removals are scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM (must be at location of item by 2:00 PM, not at the gate) on Mondays-Thursdays and 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (must be at location of item by 1:00 PM, not at the gate), on Fridays, no exceptions, no weekends. We schedule our team based on pick-up appointments.

Obtaining a pass, for the base, can take up to 45 minutes; please plan accordingly. BACKGROUND CHECK (on driver and possibly passenger) IS DONE PRIOR TO ENTRY TO THE BASE. Please note, no firearms are permitted on base. Access to MCRD may require a vehicle inspection.

A Department of the Navy Base Access form must be completed before access to Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, is permitted.

For access to Marine Corps Recruiting Depot, Parris, Island, driver's name, license number, issuing state of driver's license, and birthdate must be provided.

Real ID is required for base access.

All persons requesting access to the Marine Corps bases - Air Station and Laurel Bay, must provide an acceptable source identity document. If you do not a have a Real ID, following items are substitutes - driver's license, original or certified true copy of a birth certificate bearing a raised seal. a social security card, passport.

Once auction ends, SECNAV form 5512 will be e-mailed to winning bidder for completion. Background check can take five to seven business days. No firearms are permitted on base.
