Up for auction is a 2001 New Holland backhoe with only 364 hours of light municipal use. The machine starts, runs, and all operational functions work as expected. Unit is equipped with a 29" backhoe bucket and a 4-in-1 front bucket for added versatility.

Condition & Known Issues:

All operating functions perform properly.

No factory-installed air conditioning only heat.

Tires show normal wear consistent with age.

Hydraulic leak present in the front steering cylinder area.

Town of Cary employees are not able to assist with moving and loading.

Most items are stored at the Town of Cary, Operation Center located at 400 - 420 James Jackson Ave., Cary (between NW Cary Parkway and NW Maynard Rd.). If using GPS for directions, enter 400 James Jackson Ave, Cary, NC 27513. Look for the only 3 lane paved driveway with a black mail box on right. Items are stored in several locations at Public Works site.

Payment

Wire Transfer is the only payment option for this item. The Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days unless otherwise specified below.

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

To schedule an appointment for pickup you must contact Brandon.Pasinski@carync.gov at least 48 hours in advance. A confirmation email will be sent. YOU DO NOT HAVE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE EMAIL WITH THE DATE, TIME AND LOCATION.

ALL Pick-ups will require a printed copy of the Govdeals Bill of Sale to get your Purchased Item. It will be sent electronically upon completion of payment. If a third party is being used, please printout and complete the release authorization form. It is linked to the the item listing.

Most items are stored at the Town of Cary, Operation Center located at 400 - 420 James Jackson Ave., Cary (between NW Cary Parkway and NW Maynard Rd.). If you bought a titled item, you will be asked to fill out the Re-Assignment Information as YOU want it recorded. We need to copy the completed Title Re-Assignment for Town records. No corrections are allowed by DMV. You may need to bring a license plate when driving the vehicle off the Town's property.

The Buyer will make ALL arrangements and perform ALL work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of your property. The Town will NOT provide any tools, materials or manpower.

A daily storage fee of $10.00 will be charged for any item NOT removed within 10 business days as stated on the Buyer's Certificate. Please note that upon removal of the property, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

DESCRIPTION WARRANTY: Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for an incorrect description must be made prior to the removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the Seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
