Payment

Winning bidders are responsible for submitting payment through the My Bids section of their GovDeals account. Payment Requirements section of your account.

Payment Requirements

1. Payment is due within five (5) business days following the close of the auction. No exceptions.

2. Invoices totaling $5,000 or more must be paid by wire transfer.

3. Depending on your account history with GovDeals, you may be limited in: The number of auctions or transactions you may participate in simultaneously; and/or The dollar amount you may pay using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal. For additional information, please refer to the Probation FAQ.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax will be calculated based on the advertised location of the auction. Buyers requesting a sales tax exemption must submit the required documentation through Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool. Removal

***SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE***

The Buyer is solely responsible for all aspects of item pick-up and removal, including, but not limited to, packing, loading, transportation, and export. The Buyer must provide sufficient personnel, tools, equipment, and a vehicle of appropriate size and capacity to safely remove all purchased items. The Seller will not provide labor, loading assistance, equipment, tools, packing materials, or any other assistance with removal.

Removal is by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance by calling 248-726-3147.

Pick-up appointments are limited to days and hours when the school district is open and staff are available. Unless otherwise stated in the asset description, all purchased items must be removed within ten (10) business days following the close of the auction.

Items not removed within the required time period will be considered abandoned.

The Seller reserves the right to dispose of or relist abandoned property without refund to the Buyer.

At the time of pick-up, the Buyer or the Buyer's authorized representative must present a copy of the Buyer's Certificate and/or Bill of Sale, along with any additional documentation required by the Seller (such as a valid driver's license or Authorization for Release.) Authorization of Release, etc). Buyers should confirm required documentation when scheduling their removal appointment.

Third-Party Removal

If the Buyer authorizes a third party to remove purchased items, the third party is subject to all auction terms and conditions, removal requirements, and site restrictions.

The Buyer or the Buyer's authorized representative must arrive at the scheduled appointment fully prepared with the personnel, tools, equipment, and vehicle necessary to safely remove all purchased items.

The Buyer remains fully responsible for ensuring the authorized representative complies with all scheduling requirements, documentation requirements, site safety requirements, and removal deadlines. Any failure by the third party to comply with these requirements shall be considered the responsibility of the Buyer and may result in Buyer default. In such cases, the Seller reserves the right to declare the items abandoned, retain all payments made, and exercise any other remedies available under the auction terms and conditions.

Buyer Default Notice Winning bidders who fail to comply with the Seller's Terms and Conditions may be declared in default. In addition to any remedies available to the Seller, your Liquidity Services account may be locked or otherwise restricted in accordance with Liquidity Services policies.

Regional Bidders Only Only bidders located within a 200-mile radius of ZIP code 48307 are eligible to participate in this auction. Bids submitted by individuals or businesses outside this geographic area will not be accepted and may be canceled at the seller's discretion.
