How many miles on built transmission and how much of a build was done ,stock or performance? Thanks 07/17/2026 22:08:07 PM
140k. It was bulletproof with better then factory friction disc's, the cnc machine upgraded shift solenoid from Allison and a performance governor transducer. The 48re had a problem with the shift solenoid allowing it to take off in 3rd gear which burns it up quick. That's why they say they had bad 3rd but I reality its because of bad shift solenoids. Which wont happened again, and has a deep sump pan that adds 4 extra quarts for better cooling etc. The trans oil cooler has been replaced also 2 years ago. 07/19/2026 16:12:48 PM
