and improve efficiency in traffic management.

How JAMAR Hose/Tube Counters Work:
• Physical Setup: Rubber hoses are laid across lanes, perpendicular to the flow of traffic.
• Data Collection: When vehicles drive over the tubes, they create air pulses that the counter records.
• Types of Data Collected: The counters measure:
o Volume: Total number of vehicles.
o Classification: Distinguishing vehicle types based on axle count and spacing (up to 13 categories).
o Speed & Gap: The speed of vehicles and the distance between them.
• Software Analysis: The collected data is downloaded and analyzed using JAMAR's specialized software, such as TraxPro or STARnext (for radar and tubes).
