The issues the crew who the truck was assigned are aware of:

There is a short in the wiring somewhere that drains the batteries consistently. If we did drive the truck daily, this wasn’t a problem, but if you let it sit more than 24 hours (like over the weekend), the batteries would drain and we would have to jump the truck off. This happened even after we replaced the batteries in the truck.

The truck would have a coolant system leak. I had the issue fixed twice, but it kept popping up.

Over the time that we have had the truck, we have had constant issues with the DEF system. Either from NOx sensors going bad, the truck stuck in regen, the truck not regening at all, etc. Over the last two years the DEF system has been a constant issue.

These were the issues that I was aware of. The truck has been parked for close to a year and a half with minimal driving on the road, if any. The last time we drove it consistently, everything was functioning normally. I had these issues fixed back in 2024, but these are issues have come up since being parked, along with issues we are unaware of.
