2002 Ford Excursion SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 7.3L V8 OHV 16V TURBO DIESEL.

Vehicle does start, and move in forward and reverse, HOWEVER, it ran fine until it was run out of fuel, the cause may be the pickup in the tank as it had roughly 1/4 tank of diesel when it ran out, now although with fuel in it , it does start and run, it is choppy and has power loss, we were told it is common for 7.3 diesel engines to be this way for some miles until the air is purged from the fuel system. It ran fine and has no weird noises, but it will need some sort of attention. Trans is operable. This excursion just had $6500 of body work done to it, both rear rockers, inner and outer structures, as well as dog legs and 1 rear quarter was replaced within 3 months. There is minor rust on front outers, but in box in the rear are the parts for those to be replaced. There are no rust issues other than the rockers which is common with most excursions. All that being said this is a 7.3l diesel LIMITED 4x4 excursion, these are getting very hard to find, we have this one and soon a couple more we will be offering here on auction.
