PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION:

This is a John Deere 755B track loader. Unit was involved in an accident resulting in it being turned over onto its side. (It turned 3/4 over) Unit has been parked under a tarp for several years. Unit was still running when operator exited the machine and was quickly turned off as to not damage the engine since it was still on its side. Please see pictures of damage. Department stated that the tracks were fairly new before the accident. They are assuming the right-side final drive is busted as that track doesn't turn. They were able to tram the loader to its current spot under its own power but needed an excavator to help guide it straight. They thought the unit should still start and run but batteries are dead, so they haven't tried it. Department has stated they can aid with loading the machine but will not be responsible to provide all effort necessary to get onto a trailer. Potential bidders need to schedule a site visit to inspect so they arrive with a plan for removal.

**PLEASE NOTE: Location of asset is on an active mining site with restricted access. We have the location as the Surplus warehouse parking lot which is less than 2 miles from the Quarry. A member from the quarry will meet bidder/buyer in our lot and escort them to the site. Please schedule an inspection or removal with a 24-hour notice.

Please, inspect before bidding. Buyer is responsible for ALL LOADING AND REMOVAL.

If using a 3rd-Party agent; buyer must notify seller prior to item removal. Buyer must notify Ron Barrett (ronald@vt.edu) by email with name of person picking up item(s). The buyer must provide agent with a copy of buyer's certificate, including their signed authorization to release their items. Person picking up will be required to sign the Bill of Sale.
CONDITIONS OF REMOVAL is by Appointment with 24-hour notice. If additional time is needed for pickup, it must be approved by Ron Barrett, ronald@vt.edu by email BEFORE the auction is over.
