This auction has a view only time frame from May 19, 2026, starting at 8:00 am, through May 26, 2026, at 10:59 am. No bidding will occur during this time.
Bid deposits will only be accepted from May19, 2026 through May 27, 2026.
Bidding will be open from May 26, 2026, starting at 11:00 am through May 29, 2026, ending at 2:00 pm (please note: the auction ending time will extend beyond 2:00 pm, known as “auto-extension”, if a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes. The auto-extension will stop adding time when no bids are received for a 3-minute time frame).

To be eligible for bidding, there are three requirements:
(1)Become a registered bidder with GovDeals. If you are not a registered bidder, you will need to register at www.govdeals.com Click on “Register” in the top right-hand corner of the page.
(2)Submit a bid deposit. You will find the bid deposit instruction form below under the 'Attachments' section of this auction. If you do not see the link, click on "show more items." Bid deposits are not instant and can take one full day or longer to transfer from bank to bank; therefore, we encourage you to plan accordingly. If you wait until the last day to submit your bid deposit, you run the risk of your deposit not being cleared in time for you to bid.
(3)Subscribe to the Portsmouth Real Estate, VA tier. Requesting tier access allows us to verify your bid deposit and subsequently approve you for bidding. Click on "Register to Bid" in the blue bar to the right of the pictures. On the next page, click on "Apply Now." Your status will remain in “Pending” until bidding is open.
We will consider approving only those bidders who have submitted a bid deposit AND who have requested tier access. We encourage you to submit a bid deposit and apply for the tier as soon as possible so you are ready for bidding. Bidders will only be approved in the tier after the bidding opens on May 26, 2026, at 11:00 am.

ALL THAT certain lot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon and the appurtenances thereunto belonging, situate, lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and identified as Parcel ‘G,’ as shown on a certain plat entitled “Subdivision of Property Owned by the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, Known as Beechdale Commerce Park/Portsmouth, Virginia” made by Miller-Fox Stephenson, P.C. dated June 11, 1984, and last revised March 6, 1987, which plat is duly recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, in Map Book 13 at Pages 217-218, to which plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of the said property.
IT BEING a portion of that certain property conveyed to H. Glenn Gray, et als. to Economic Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (f/k/a Industrial Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia by Deed dated February 20, 1981 and recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia in Deed Book 804 at Page 665.
