2017 Ford Explorer SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 3.7L V6 DOHC 24V.
Vehicle was purchased used in 2023 from a department in Missouri on gov deals. APD does not know the vehicles history from 2017-2023 before the vehicle was acquired. APD does have records on maintenance performed on vehicle since then.
Currently there is a check engine light on and upon inspection by a mechanic(s) it was discovered that there is an injector issue at a minimum that would require repair. Vehicle appears to run when parked however when driving is rough. Officers have described driving it as feeling misfires and inconsistent acceleration with check engine light flashing. Due to the age of the vehicle and its condition we are replacing it as scheduled this year and not paying for repairs.
Vehicle is white in color however wrapped in black. Identifying markings were taken off of the vehicle and the rest of the black is a wrap which can be removed. APD does have any rear passenger compartment seats with the vehicle as we, again, purchased it used.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
