TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to this seller within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Please see the contact below for any questions.
California Buyers: Sales tax will be calculated based on city of residence and added at the close of auction. If you are a licensed auto dealer or an out of state buyer that will be having the vehicle transported (bill of lading required) out of the state, please contact GovDeals prior to making payment. Out of state buyers are subject to 7.750% sales tax if vehicle is driven on California roads.
Removal
Winning bidders please see your Buyers Certificate for contact information to arrange removal. Do not call Orange County to arrange removal.
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance (909) 203-0548. Monday - Thursday from 9am -2pm All items must be removed within 5 (five) days including pay date from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
Please note that the County releases all ownership and responsibility for all items once items leave the County facility by any/all means including but not limited to pick up by buyer or buyer representative or shipping company. The County and GovDeals neither endorse nor accept responsibility or liability for lost shipments, lost profits, damage to the property or any other claims or damages arising from buyer’s pick up or use of a third party shipping company.
Removal is available Monday-Wednesday by appointment only. Weekend removal is NOT available If using third party transporter, please make them aware of our removal hours and procedures. Third party transporters must have copy of buyers certificate for vehicle to be released.
