PLEASE NOTE SELLER INSTRUCTIONS AS FOLLOWS:

All vehicles that are driven out of our facility must have a State issued license plate or temporary tag. If you reside in Williamson County, you may be eligible for a 30 day temporary tag from the County Clerk's Office. If you reside out of the county, you may be eligible for a 30 day temporary tag through your County Clerk's Office if available or the State of Tennessee. If you reside out of state, you may can get a 7 day transit tag from the Williamson County Clerk's Office. Section 40-33-211. PROPERTY DISPOSITION.

Seized Vehicles: No title will be given to the winning bidder by the Fairview Police Department, Fairview TN. A Court Order will be issued to title vehicles. Item is seized, confiscated, abandoned, or forfeited so the mileage can not be guaranteed by the Fairview Police Department Fairview, TN.


Vehicles may have salvage, rebuilt, or other title factors that are unknown until after the registration process has begun. Maybe subject to additional state fees. Title status may not be reported on all vehicles due to lack of information, outdated information, or out-of-state issues. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the VIN for title status


Items won on Friday auction's will be available for pick-up on the following Monday-Thursday with Holiday exceptions. You may contact the Finance Clerks office at 615-799-2484 Ext.133 Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm to arrange payment. Once the item has been paid for pick up instructions will be given.



ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).

A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days.

Seized & Abandoned Items: ( c ) ( 1 ) An owner of property whose interest is forfeited after being arrested for, or charged with, any felony, shall be INELIGIBLE to purchase such property from, or to bid at any sale of the property conducted by the seizing agency or its agent.
The Fairview Police Department auctions abandoned vehicles pursuant to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated § 55-16-101 et seq. The Fairview Police Department also auctions vehicles that are forfeitures pursuant to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated § 40-33-101 et seq. and 40-33-201 et seq. These abandoned and forfeited vehicles are not registered to the Fairview Police Department but are sold pursuant to state law. Accordingly, these abandoned vehicles and forfeitures are sold AS-IS. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to investigate the history of this vehicle before participating in this auction. Seized vehicles are not required to be advertised in the local media before auction
