All items must be removed within five business days of notification; otherwise a storage fee of $10.00, per day shall be assessed.

1. The surplus supplies will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the vehicles described in this auction. The City of Haverhill reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to dispose of the vehicles through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder. 2. ALL PROPERTY IS OFFERED AND SOLD “AS IS, WHERE IS”. THE CITY MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES BEYOND THE FACE HEREOF, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FOR “MECHANTABILITY” OR “FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE”. 3. THE CITY OF HAVERHILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. 4. The CITY OF HAVERHILL is not responsible for damage to vehicles. Police vehicles which have distinctive markings must be repainted with a solid color within thirty (30) days of sale. 7. Bidders are responsible for loading their own purchases. 8. SALE IS SUBJECT TO ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, ERRORS, AND OMISSIONS. 9. The successful bidder’s may be required to pay sales tax based upon the book value of the vehicle when they register their vehicles.
