This 1988 highlighter-Yellow ladder truck nicknamed "BIG BOY" was on scene responding to the September 11th 2001 attack on the Twin Towers in New York City. Lonsdale purchased this truck from Fairmount Fire Department in Syracuse, NY in 2006. This never forgotten piece of history has been well maintained and features several pieces of dependable equipment. The truck is equipped with a very reliable Detroit Diesel power house motor known for legendary durability and a diesel powered generator. Everything in working order.
