2010 Gillig Low Floor Transit Bus (Bus 22), 8.9L L6 DIESEL
This 29-foot bus was used on a fixed route and has an odometer reading of 373,916 miles. The bus can carry up to 28 seated + 21 standing passengers and has 2 wheelchair areas that when flipped up reduces seating capacity by 4 in favor of 2 wheelchair positions. The bus is equipped with a Lift-U wheelchair ramp.
This bus was maintained according to our maintenance requirements; with 6K mile service intervals, records are available. We removed this vehicle from service in March of 2025. The motor runs but it has blow-by (leaks of some kind). The interior of the motor needs an overhaul. It does run and drive but may need a jump to start it. It has a diesel Cummins 8.9L engine. GVWR is 30,000 lbs. The bus has an automatic Allison transmission and is operable. The exterior of the bus is white, with minor dings and scratches. Decals have been removed, and impressions remain. The windows are not cracked. Emergency equipment has been removed.
The interior is blue and white and has blue and gray cloth seats, in good condition, but should be expected to have normal wear and tear. The bus has working cold AC but there is no radio.
Vehicle is being sold “As Is” so please bid accordingly. The vehicle is located at our bus facility at 232 North Main Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44902. Inspections are available upon request. Call Chris Terry at 419-522-4504 to set up an appointment.

Removal
***SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE***The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation/towing and exporting. Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned. At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
