Each penny weighs 2.7 grams, bringing the total weight to 2,700 grams (2.7 kg / 5 lbs15 oz) for 1,000 pennies.
The quantity has not been individually counted by us, but the lot is sold as 1,000 coins based on weight and historical packaging.
