All vehicles sold by the District of Columbia Government on GovDeals.com MUST be towed away. There are no exceptions to this rule. Buyers must pick up within 10 days of auction close. After 10 days, auctions may be canceled. If auction is canceled, bidder's GovDeals account will be locked. Bidder is responsible for all loading and removal. No loading assistance available. No shipping available. If you need loading or shipping, please contact a local tow company. We cannot recommend any specific companies. We recommend buyers use Google search to find a tow company. Search Google for "towing company in DC" If sending a tow truck, family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:
1: copy of buyer's driver license
2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up
3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes)
