Up for bid 2004 Freightliner FL70 CONVENTIONAL CAB, 7.2L L6 DIESEL, CDL/Airbrakes Truck, the truck was utilized by the Sanitation Department and is in poor condition and not road worthy; the vehicle will need to be towed from the facility. The unit has a cat diesel motor which will turn over and run but has a significant leak that needs to be addressed. The left side drive axle locks up on the unit and a tapping sound in the rear of the vehicle when driven was notated by staff. The interior is poor the door latches don't work on the inside and right door won't open at all. The cab is cracked on the drivers B-Post which needs to be addressed. The heat or air doesn't work and there are various electrical issues. Inspection of the unit is highly recommended before bidding.

Payment
Payment : Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are U.S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders. If payment is not received within 5 days from the auction end date and time, the seller reserves the right to reclaim and repost the item and the buyer will be prohibited from the use of GovDeals
Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the City of North Augusta assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. See special instructions on each auction page for removal details. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
