Up for Bid 2008 Freightliner M2 106 CONVENTIONAL CAB, 8.3L L6 DIESEL, CDL/Airbrakes Vacuum Truck, the truck was utilized by the Sanitation Department and is in good condition regarding the truck, but the OBS Vacuum system is inoperable due to wiring failure caused by a short circuit and will need to be addressed before resuming vacuuming. The pony motor is a John Deere 4045 engine and when last ran has no issues. The truck has a Cummins diesel motor which runs with no known issues and the vehicle is able to drive without issue at time of inspection. The AC and Heat appear to work and the truck shifts and runs out nice. . Inspection of the unit is highly recommended before bidding.

Payment
Payment : Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyers Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are U.S. Currency, Certified Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, or a Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory). If payment is not received within 5 days from the auction end date and time, the seller reserves the right to reclaim and repost the item and the buyer will be prohibited from the use of GovDeals
Removal
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will the City of North Augusta assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. See special instructions on each auction page for removal details. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
