Live Oak Fire Department is looking to re-home a rare style rear-mount aerial platform apparatus. This Pierce Dash platform topped with a Pierce manufactured "Sky-Arm" articulating style boom was the first in the region.

Live Oak Fire Department used unit as an "as needed/requested" basis, acquiring low mileage.

Sporting a low 20,443 miles.

Specifications are as such:
Pierce Dash with seating for 6, consisting of (5) SCBA seats, (1) Driver air-ride seat. Overall height of vehicle is a reasonable 12' 2". Overall wheelbase is 285" sporting a Tak-4 front suspension. Boosting a 500hp, 12.7 Liter Detroit Series 60 L6, with an Alisson 6-speed transmission, this unit has just the right amount of power.

Apparatus has an out-rigger stance of 19' when fully set up for operations, allowing full 100' aerial to be deployed successfully. Unit utilizes a 12' jib to articulate over parapet walls as needed. Also, the bucket on the platform can articulate laterally, positioning the platform for successful elevated rescues. Aerial device construction is of heavy-duty steel, managing 1000lb tip-load dry, and 500lb tip-load flowing water. Refer to manufactures specs for operation.

This aerial also has a 2000gpm Waterous dual-stage pump with (2) 1.5", (1) 2.5" as well as (1) front bumper 1.5" discharge. The pump is supported by dual 6" intakes with (2) 2.5" auxiliary intakes located on both sides of the pump housing. (1) LDH discharge on the officer’s side as well as (1) LDH rear intake bypassing the pump and feeds directly into the elevated water way. Some discharge gauges do need replacement as well as the pump panel exterior command zone. The exterior command zone screen is damaged and is currently disconnected by 3rd party service center, no functionality has been lost with command zone module disconnected.

Cord reel is plumbed into a unit with a 150' reel containing 12-gauge wire terminating into a junction box. Cord reel has an electric rewind via push button on officer side pump panel. Cord reel is powered by a hydraulic generator located in dunnage area of unit. Last checked, generator needs to be serviced prior to operating. Cord reel is operated by switch inside the cab as well as a breaker box in the first cabinet after the pump panel on driver side, refer to pictures.

While having an aerial and pump is essential, the cabinets sport double rear "Texas-Style" LDH chutes. Each chute can hold approximately 500' of LDH. These chutes are on each side of the rear storage cabinet, where you will find placement for; (1) 2-section 35' extension ladder, (1) 24' extension ladder, (2) 16' Roof ladders, (1) 14' Fresno extension ladder, (1) 10' Attic ladder and assortment of fiberglass pike poles. Only ladders included will be the attic and Fresno ladder.

Some service records from third-party vendor are available if requested. Unit is sold as is and it is encouraged that all parties inspect unit prior to purchase. Unit has been pump tested up to March of 2024 as well as third party ladder certified, refer to pictures showing Ladder Certification paper.
