Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are:
· U. S. Currency
· Certified Cashiers Check
· Money Order
Checks shall be made payable to: City of North Augusta. Payment must be mailed or hand delivered to 61 Claypit Rd. North Augusta, SC 29841 Payable: City of North Augusta enclosed in an envelope clearly marked Attn: James Sutton. It is imperative that if mailed that payment arrives within the 5 business days of the awarded bid, if payment is not received within this time frame the unit will be relisted the following business day and the buyers account is subject to GovDeals payment default rules. The account will also be listed as nonpayment and bared from bidding on any further items from the City of North Augusta indefinitely. It is up to the buyer to ensure that proper mailing has been done on their part, and we highly recommend using overnight and/or certified mail with a tracking number to ensure proper delivery. The City of North Augusta is not responsible for lost mail and if payment arrives after the 5 business days the buyer will be notified, and the payment will be mailed certified back to the buyer.
