Up for auction we have a Stryker Renaissance Stretcher. The Stryker 1731 stretcher, also known as the Renaissance Stretcher, is a durable and versatile patient handling system used in various healthcare settings like emergency rooms, maternity wards, and surgical departments.
Features
Maneuverability: Fifth-wheel steering system and pop-up handles for easy navigation through tight spaces and improved control.
Patient Comfort: Includes a 3-inch (8 cm) enhanced comfort mattress and a dual cylinder pneumatic backrest.
Safety & Stability: Equipped with steel-ring brakes and dual-end activators (some with optional four-sided controls) for a securely locked surface.
Versatility: Removable side rails for easier patient access and navigating narrow areas.
Convenience: Integrated patient transfer boards, a storage tray with an oxygen bottle holder, and four corner IV receptacles.
Hydraulic System: Dual pedestal hydraulics with a uni-lower pedal and three-sided foot control for smooth height adjustments.
The Stretcher wheels work properly and the unit rolls smoothly. The Stretcher pedals lift, lower, and lock the wheels properly. The Stretcher bed cushion is in good condition with no visible rips or tears. The Stretcher pivots into the upright sitting position properly. The side rails lift up and down properly. There are some cracks in the plastic on one of the corners, where the IV pole lowers down. The Stretcher measures 82" long x 34" wide. Please reference included photos for more details. Item may show cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, and grime. The Stretcher is being sold AS IS.

Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Any inspections that occur must be done by appointment only.
Payment
If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.
Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
