2018 Ford Explorer Utility, Base 4-Door, 3.7L V6 TIVCT, 6-Speed Auto Transmission. Vehicle was taken out of service in July of 2025.
This vehicle has 117,781 miles and 9,132 engine hours. Originally purchased from Asheville Ford, Asheville, NC in April of 2018. Vehicle served as a K-9 unit equipped with emergency equipment and kennel installed. The kennel is in intact but the hot alarm system for the kennel is in need of repair/replacement. This vehicle remained in service on active patrol and general maintenance was performed approximately every 5,000 miles. Service records will be provided to the winning bidder. Equipment remains as captured in pictures. All equipment appears to be functioning as of last inspection. Emergency lights are from Sound Off Signal and a combination of red/blue LEDs. Vehicle is equipped with the Setina push bar, Jotto Desk center console equipped with the Motorola APX6500 and Sound Off Signal controller. The in car camera has been removed. Inspections require an appointment.

Removal
Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
