Up for Auction we have a Metro C5 3 Series Holding & Proofing Cabinet. The Metro C539-CFC-U is a full-height, mobile, insulated holding and proofing cabinet. It is designed for commercial food service operations and features a combination module that can switch between holding and proofing modes, with humidity control.
Key Features and Capabilities
Insulated construction: The unit is built with Metro's proprietary Insulation Armour™, a durable polymer that insulates the aluminum cabinet, keeping the exterior cool to the touch. This design saves energy and is resistant to dents, scuffs, and stains.
Combination module: This versatile feature allows the cabinet to be used for both holding food at higher temperatures and for lower-temperature proofing with added moisture control.
Pan capacity: The cabinet can hold up to 18 full-size (18" x 26") sheet pans or 34 steam table pans.
Universal wire slides: The pan slides are adjustable in 1.5-inch increments, allowing for flexibility with different pan sizes.
Controls: The unit has an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, and a master on/off switch. The control module is also removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Mobility: It is equipped with four 5-inch swivel casters, two of which have brakes, for easy transport.
Clear door: The full-length, clear polycarbonate door allows staff to see the contents without opening the cabinet and losing heat.
Power: The cabinet runs on 120V power and has a wattage of 2000W.
The Cabinet has been powered ON. The Cabinet Heated Up and Held a constant Temperature. The Cabinet is Unused. The Cabinet wheels work properly and the unit rolls smoothly. Please reference included photos and model number for more details. This item is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
