Up for Auction we have an Oakton Ph 450 Waterproof Portable Meter. The Oakton pH 450 is a durable, waterproof portable meter designed for a wide range of laboratory, field, and manufacturing applications. In addition to measuring pH, it can also measure mV (ORP), ion-selective electrode (ISE), and temperature.
Features and Capabilities
Durable and waterproof: It is housed in an IP67-rated casing, protecting it from both dust and water.
User-friendly interface: A backlit LCD allows you to view the main measurement simultaneously with temperature and calibration data. The meter uses intuitive icons, including an electrode status display that shows the pH slope.
High-accuracy calibration:
For pH, the meter can be calibrated up to six points using USA, NIST, DIN, or custom buffer sets.
For ISE, it can also be calibrated with up to six points.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) is built-in to ensure accurate measurements even when temperatures fluctuate.
Data management:
It can log up to 500 data sets, which are stamped with the real-time clock.
Data can be transferred to a computer via USB or RS-232 output.
Practical design:
A Grip-Clip™can secure the electrode to the side of a beaker for hands-free use.
It has a built-in stand for benchtop use and a wall-mount option for storage.
Power is supplied by two AA batteries, which provide up to 500 hours of battery life.
The Meter has been powered ON. No further testing has been completed on the Meter. Please reference included photos for more details. This Kit is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
