For Auction we have a Leica ASP 300 S Automated Tissue Processor For Parts & Repair. The Leica ASP 300 S is a fully enclosed, automated vacuum tissue processor used in histopathology for the fixation, dehydration, clearing, and paraffin infiltration of tissue specimens for subsequent analysis. It is an enhanced version of its predecessor, the ASP 300.
Features and Capabilities
Capacity: Processes up to 300 standard cassettes per run using a metal basket (252 with a plastic basket).
Processing Retort: Features a 4.5-liter, electropolished stainless steel retort with an optical level sensor and stir bar for efficient reagent mixing.
Reagent System: Uses 10 reagent bottles and 3 paraffin baths, each with a 4.3-liter capacity.
Reagent Management System (RMS): An intelligent system that monitors reagent quality, volume, and type to ensure optimal specimen quality and laboratory economy.
User Interface: Equipped with an intuitive, solvent-resistant color touchscreen interface with multi-language support and context-sensitive online help.
Programs: Allows for up to 15 user-defined programs and includes pre-stored rapid protocols for biopsies to shorten turnaround times.
Pressure/Vacuum Control: Offers four pressure/vacuum options (V/P, V, P, Ambient) to enhance tissue infiltration.
Safety Features: Includes a fully enclosed fume system with an internal condenser and carbon filter, remote fill and drain capabilities for contact-free reagent handling, and a safety system that applies a contingency plan in case of a power failure or operating errors.
Documentation: Features comprehensive documentation options, including a printer port and a 3.5" disc drive for exporting data logs to comply with QC requirements.
Remote Monitoring: Can be optionally equipped with Leica RemoteCare for real-time application and service support via an internet connection.
The Processor has not been powered on or tested. Please reference included photos for more details. The Processor comes with everything that you see in the pictures. The Processor may show cosmetic wear such as scuffs, scratches, wax, and grime. The Processor is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
