2011 Pierce Custom Contender FIRE TRUCK, 8.9L L6 DIESEL.

The truck up auction has normal wear and tear on the interior and exterior. The mileage is listed above and the engine hours are 5,355. The tires are in good condition. The right front windshield has a crack in the bottom outside corner. The engine and transmission run out good and work as they should. However the engine has noticeable blow-by when running. It pushes oil out of the engine. Crankcase pressure can be seen coming from the oil fill. The PCV filter in the valve cover has been changed with no change noted. The engine also has an oil leak at the rear main and front seals, most likely from the crankcase pressure. This truck is equipped with snow chains. It has 1,000 gallon water tank and a foam system. The pump information can be found on the truck mounted tag which is located in the pictures. The brakes, steering, heat, and lighting work as they should. The a/c does not work. This truck as all fire trucks will have dead batteries, even from sitting a short amount of time. Please be prepared to jump this truck off or have new batteries with you. We do not have a jump box that will jump start this truck. Not reading the add does not change this fact. It has (4) Group 31 stud post batteries. If the equipment is pictured, it comes with the truck.
