For Auction we have a Covidien Kangaroo ePump. The Covidien Kangaroo ePump is a compact, user-friendly enteral feeding pump designed for administering continuous or intermittent nutrition and hydration in clinical or home environments. It features an intuitive interface and several safety mechanisms for reliable operation.
Features and Capabilities
Feeding Modes: Easily programmable for both continuous and intermittent feeding to meet diverse patient needs.
Automatic Flushing: When used with compatible feed and flush sets, the pump provides automatic flushing capability, which helps maintain tube patency and reduces manual intervention.
Safety Features: Includes an automatic anti-free-flow system to prevent accidental gravity feeding, occlusion alarms, and the MISTIC (Magnetic Intelligent Set Type Identification Connector) system to ensure the correct pump set is used.
User Interface: Features a large, backlit LCD display with step-by-step prompts for easy programming and operation, described as an "ATM-style" interface.
Portability: The pump is compact and lightweight, with an integrated handle and the ability to operate without a drip chamber, making it suitable for tabletop use or IV pole mounting in various settings.
Battery Backup: A rechargeable NiMH battery provides approximately 15 hours of backup power at a feed rate of 100 mL/hr.
Memory: The pump stores up to 72 hours of feeding and flushing history, allowing clinicians to track the amount of formula and fluid delivered accurately.
The ePump has been powered on. The Pump has not been tested further than what you see in the photos. The Pump comes with a power cord, battery, and pole clamp. The Pump shows cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. Please reference the included photos for more details. The Pump is being sold AS IS.

Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Any inspections that occur must be done by appointment only.
Payment
If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.
Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
