Features and Ergonomics
The Steelcase Leap chair is designed to provide personalized support using several innovative technologies and adjustment options.
LiveBack Technology: The chair's backrest changes shape to mimic the natural movement of the user's spine, providing continuous support in its healthy S-shape.
Natural Glide System: This patented mechanism allows the seat to glide forward as you recline, ensuring you stay within your "vision and reach zone" and reducing strain on your eyes, neck, and arms.
Adjustable Lumbar Support: Users can adjust both the height of the lumbar support and the firmness of the lower back area to their preference.
4D Adjustable Arms: The armrests move in four dimensions: height, width, depth, and pivot, allowing users to find a natural and comfortable position that supports their needs.
Seat Adjustments: Features include pneumatic seat-height adjustment (standard range of 15.5" to 20.5"), adjustable seat depth, and a flexible front edge to relieve pressure on the back of the thighs.

Payment

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
