DESCRIPTION/CONDITION :
Up for auction is one used shipping container. This container has a few patches located on the side and roof, along with visible dings, dents, and areas of rust but it appears to remain in usable condition. See pictures for more details and personal inspection is highly advised. We have the capability to load this container on a flatbed or lowboy for the winning bidder.

See the pictures for more details. Personal inspection of the lot is highly recommended. Verification of all details are entirely the responsibility of the bidder during an in-person inspection. Failure to inspect the lot is not grounds to void responsibility. See options for removal below as options not listed are NOT ALLOWED.

Please be aware that per Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 200-360-040 : "No sale shall be invalid due to defects discovered after sale which may have been discovered by a reasonable inspection of the property before sale."

Asset is sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.

Inspection

Customers can inspect the property only by appointment. All previews should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance (Monday thru Friday). Same day appointments will only be made until 10 AM, and only if we have an opening in our schedule for that day. Please call 360-407-1922 to schedule an appointment.

Condition varies on merchandise we sell. Some assets may not be thoroughly evaluated and some may contain defects which are unknown and undisclosed. Items sold "as is" and responsibility is entirely on interested parties to self-inspect the auctions prior to bidding. Auction only includes the item as described and any other machine/equipment seen on pictures in the surroundings are not part of this auction.

Payment

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX: Non Vehicles

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

If you are seeking sales tax removal, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). This must be completed before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool for Out of State Vehicle Buyers. You will be provided two forms to bring to Seller that will be signed upon removal.

Removal

PICK UP DEADLINE

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the date of the Buyer's Certificate.

Buyers can pick up the property ONLY BY APPOINTMENT. All pickups must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance (Monday thru Friday). Please call 360-407-2271 to schedule an appointment.

A signed Bill of Sale will be required from the buyer prior to the pickup of any asset. Photo ID is required at time of pick up.

A daily storage fee of $6.00 per pallet will be charged after deadline.

REMOVAL CONDITIONS

PICK UP BY AUTHORIZED PERSON ONLY

Asset will be released only to buyer or pre-authorized agent - in person. We have forklifts and personnel onsite to assist with load out if needed, as our safety policies permit.

Buyer may also have someone else pick up this item on their behalf. Individual is required to be specifically named to pick up on your behalf. An Authorization of Release must be signed by the buyer and emailed to SurplusCashier@des.wa.gov prior to pick up.

A flatbed or lowboy will be required for pick up. We have the ability to load this onsite.

If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this sellers TERMS AND CONDITIONS, your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.
