For Auction we have a Lot of 4 Medtronic Situate 200X Detection Consoles. The Medtronic Situate Detection Console 200X is the central user interface component of the Situate detection system, used to detect radio-frequency (RF) tagged surgical sponges and prevent them from being accidentally retained in a patient after surgery. The console guides operating room (OR) staff through the workflow using on-screen prompts and generates unique confirmation codes for electronic medical record (EMR) entry, helping to reconcile counts before a case is closed.
Features and Capabilities
Function: It processes the signal from associated scanning devices (body scanner, room scanner) to pinpoint the location of Situate™ tagged surgical sponges.
System Components: The console is part of a four-component system that also includes an automated body scanner, a handheld room scanner, and single-use tagged cotton items (gauze, sponges, and towels).
Detection Capability: The system can detect tagged sponges up to 16 inches away in vivo, even in the presence of fat, dense tissue, blood, bone, and near metal.
Intended Use: The system serves as an adjunct technology to complement, not replace, manual surgical sponge counts and is indicated for use by trained surgical staff in a surgical setting.
The Consoles all power on. The Consoles have not been tested further than what is documented with the included photos. The Consoles come with 1 power cord. The Consoles may show cosmetic wear such as scuffs and stickers. Please reference the included photos and Console model numbers for more details. The Medtronic Detection Consoles are being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
