For Auction we have a Lot of Welch-Allyn Thermometers. The majority of the Thermometers in this Lot are ThermoScan Pro 6000 models. The rest of the Thermometers are ThermoScan Pro 4000 models.
The Welch Allyn ThermoScan Pro 6000 Thermometer is a tympanic (in-ear) infrared thermometer designed for clinical use. It provides fast, accurate, and reliable temperature readings with features that assist with proper placement and use.
Features and Capabilities
PerfecTemp technology: Adjusts the final temperature reading to compensate for probe placement variations in the ear canal, which helps improve accuracy.
ExacTemp technology: Detects the stability of the probe during the measurement process, indicating that you have consistent placement and can expect an accurate reading.
Speed: Provides accurate measurements in as little as 1 to 3 seconds.
60-second pulse timer: An integrated timer feature helps clinicians take manual measurements of a patient's pulse or respiration rate.
Memory recall: A dedicated memory button allows you to recall the last temperature taken.
Versatile cradle options: Available with either a small cradle (holds one box of 20 probe covers) or a large cradle (holds two boxes of 40 probe covers).
Display: Features a backlit LCD screen, which is helpful in low-light conditions.
The Thermometers have not been powered on or tested. We do not know how many Thermometers are in this Lot. Please reference the included photos for more details. The Thermometers may show cosmetic wear such as scratches, scuffs, labels, and stickers. The Lot of ThermoScan Thermometers are being sold AS IS.

Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable. Any inspections that occur must be done by appointment only.
Payment
If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.
Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
